Details:
The Ontario Court of Justice found the member guilty of:
- 2 counts of theft of a value not exceeding five thousand dollars, contrary to Section 334(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada; and
- failing to attend court, contrary to Section 145(2)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The Ontario Court of Justice sentenced the member on July 4, 2016 to the following:
- suspended sentence;
- DNA order; and
- 12 months probation.

Finding Details:
The member was found to have committed professional misconduct in that she:
- misappropriated property and engaged in disgraceful, dishonourable and unprofessional conduct by misappropriating narcotics from a client in April 2015; and
- contravened a term, condition and limitation on her certificate of registration and engaged in disgraceful, dishonourable and unprofessional conduct by failing to report that she was charged with the offences of break and enter and theft contrary to Section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code in May 2015 and May 2016.
