Finding Details:
The member was found to have committed professional misconduct in that she:
- contravened the standards of practice of the profession, contravened the Health Professions Procedural Code of the Nursing Act, 1991, failed to report an incident of unsafe practice or unethical conduct of a health care provider and engaged in dishonourable and unprofessional conduct in or about August 2016 when she was aware that a fellow nurse had sexual intercourse with a client and she did not report this to her employer or the College; and
- contravened the standards of practice of the profession and engaged in dishonourable and unprofessional conduct between June and August 2016 when she failed to maintain the boundaries of the therapeutic nurse-client relationship with a client.

The Discipline Committee ordered that the member’s certificate of registration be suspended for four months; required the member to appear before the panel to be reprimanded; and imposed the following terms, conditions and limitations on the member’s certificate of registration:
- Must successfully complete specified remedial activities
- Must inform employer(s) of results of discipline hearing
- Must inform College of all nursing employer(s) for a period of time
