Finding Details:
The member was found to have committed professional misconduct in that the member:
- contravened the standards of practice of the profession and engaged in disgraceful, dishonourable and unprofessional conduct by engaging in a pattern of behaviour towards a colleague that was unwanted and inappropriately personal and/or sexual on one or more occasions between October and December 2020, including: attempting to kiss the colleague on several occasions while at work, playing with the colleague’s hair and telling the colleague the member loved them, and sending the colleague text messages with inappropriately sexual and/or romantic content; and in December 2020, by attempting to kiss the colleague and biting the colleague while a passenger in the colleague’s car, attempting to kiss the colleague while on the premises of the facility, and touching the colleague’s breasts while the colleague was attending to a patient.

The Discipline Committee ordered that the member’s certificate of registration be suspended for six months; required the member to appear before the panel to be reprimanded; and imposed the following terms, conditions and limitations on the member’s certificate of registration:
- Must successfully complete specified education
- Must successfully complete specified remedial activities
- Must inform employer(s) of results of discipline hearing
- Must inform CNO of all nursing employer(s) for a period of time
