Details:
The Ontario Court of Justice found the member guilty of:
- theft not exceeding $5,000 contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code
- failing to comply with a condition of recognizance contrary to Section 145(3) of the Criminal Code
The Ontario Court of Justice sentenced the member on February 4, 2016 to the following:
- conditional discharge and probation for 1 year, as per conditions outlined by the court
- 30 days in jail
- a victim surcharge

The Ontario Court of Justice found the member guilty of:
- two counts of theft not exceeding $5,000 contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code
- four counts of trafficking in a credit card, contrary to section 342(1)(c) of the Criminal Code
- two counts of failing to comply with a condition of undertaking contrary to Section 145(5.1) of the Criminal Code
The Ontario Court of Justice sentenced the member on March 14, 2016 to the following:
- conditional discharge and probation for 2 years, as per conditions outlined by the court
- restitution in the amount of $6,934.48
- 60 days in jail
- DNA order
- a victim surcharge

Finding Details:
The member was found to have committed professional misconduct between 2014 and 2016 in that she:
- contravened a term, condition or limitation on her certificate of registration, contravened a provision of the Nursing Act, 1991, the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 and the regulations under either of those Acts and engaged in disgraceful, dishonourable and unprofessional conduct by her failure to report findings of guilt to the College, in particular, theft not exceeding five thousand dollars and failure to comply with recognizances;
- contravened a term, condition or limitation on her certificate of registration and engaged in disgraceful, dishonourable and unprofessional conduct by her failure to report 21 charges to the College including theft not exceeding five thousand dollars, trafficking credit cards, failure to comply with recognizances and possessing substances including, methamphetamines, heroin and cannabis marijuana under thirty grams;
- was found guilty of theft not exceeding five thousand dollars, an offence relevant to her suitability to practise the profession; and
- misappropriated property from her workplace by misappropriating credit cards from two clients.
