Finding Details:
The member was found to have committed professional misconduct between April 2019 and May 2020 in that she:
- contravened the standards of practice of the profession; failed to keep records as required; and engaged in dishonourable and unprofessional conduct by documenting that she had administered medications to patients on five separate occasions when she had not and by documenting that she had changed a dressing on a patient’s foot when she had not; and
- contravened the standards of practice of the profession and engaged in dishonourable and unprofessional conduct by failing to administer medications to patients on five separate occasions and by failing to change a dressing on a patient’s foot as ordered.

The Discipline Committee ordered that the member’s certificate of registration be suspended for four months; required the member to appear before the panel to be reprimanded; and imposed the following terms, conditions and limitations on the member’s certificate of registration:
- Must successfully complete specified remedial activities
- May not engage in independent nursing practice for a period of time
- Must inform employer(s) of results of discipline hearing
- Must inform College of all nursing employer(s) for a period of time
- Employer(s) to provide specified reports to College for a period of time

- failed to cooperate with the Quality Assurance Committee and engaged in unprofessional conduct in or about March 2014 to October 2014 when she failed to participate after being selected by the Quality Assurance Committee for practice assessment.
