Details:
The Ontario Superior Court of Justice found the member guilty of:
- 8 counts of first degree murder, contrary to section 235(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada;
- 4 counts of attempted murder, contrary to section 239(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada; and
- 2 counts of aggravated assault, contrary to section 268(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The Ontario Superior Court of Justice sentenced the member on June 26, 2017 to the following:
- 8 concurrent life terms in jail; and
- No parole eligibility for 25 years.
