Finding Details:
The member was found to have committed professional misconduct in May 2020 to July 2021 in that she:
- sexually abused a patient; contravened the standards of practice of the profession; and engaged in disgraceful, dishonourable and unprofessional conduct by engaging in touching of a sexual nature of a patient and engaging in behaviour and making remarks of a sexual nature towards the patient; and
- contravened the standards of practice of the profession and engaged in disgraceful, dishonourable and unprofessional conduct by failing to maintain the boundaries of the therapeutic nurse-patient relationship with the patient.
