Finding Details:
The member was found to have committed professional misconduct in or about April and August 2016, in that she:
- contravened the standard of practice and engaged in conduct or performed an act that would reasonably be regarded as dishonourable and unprofessional when she, or a person acting on her behalf to whom she had disclosed confidential information, engaged in inappropriate communications with potential witnesses and the spouse and friend of a potential witness in the member’s prior discipline hearing; and when she, or a person acting on her behalf, posted inappropriate comments regarding one of the potential witnesses.

The Discipline Committee ordered that the member’s certificate of registration be suspended for four months; required the member to appear before the Panel to be reprimanded; and imposed the following terms, conditions and limitations on the member’s certificate of registration:
- Must successfully complete specified remedial activities
- Must inform employer(s) of results of discipline hearing
- Must inform CNO of all nursing employer(s) for a period of time

Finding Details:
The member was found to have committed professional misconduct between January 2010 and September 2013 in that she:
- contravened a standard of practice of the profession and engaged in dishonourable and unprofessional conduct by accessing personal health information without consent related to approximately 300 patients; and
- contravened the standards of practice of the profession and engaged in unprofessional conduct by failing to maintain appropriate boundaries with a client and the client’s family when she discussed personal issues, brought personal friends to the home of the client, invited her family for dinner at the home of the client, purchased shirts for the client and travelled with the family of a client for an event.
