Finding Details:
The member was found to have committed professional misconduct between August and September 2016 in that she:

contravened the standards of practice of the profession and engaged in dishonourable and unprofessional conduct by failing to implement the facility’s bowel protocol in respect to her patient after receiving alerts from the facility’s dashboard alerts; failing to complete appropriate bowel assessments of her patient; failing to monitor her patient for signs and symptoms of constipation and/or bowel obstruction; failing to advise the patient’s physician of a change in her patient’s bowel status; failing to document her assessment and/or care of her patient and/or failing to document the patient’s refusal of care.
